The Turbo band – the legend of Polish heavy metal – celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2020 and on this occasion will present a cross-sectional program (with an extended set list), summarizing its activities so far.
There will be songs from most Turbo releases, so we hope that everyone who comes will find something for themselves.
The group was founded in January 1980 in Poznań, and its leader is the outstanding Polish guitarist Wojciech Hoffmann.
The band has played thousands of concerts in Poland, taking part in many important rock and metal festivals. The group has toured abroad several times, including Austria, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany, Slovakia, Sweden, Great Britain, and Russia.
During their career, the band had the pleasure to play on the same stage with such artists as: Hanoi Rocks, Pretty Maids, Helloween, Running Wild, Overkill, Kreator, Citron, Sepultura, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep.
Ronnie James Dio is without a doubt one of the best metal and rock voices in history. Unfortunately, Ronnie James Dio, the vocalist of such bands as Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and DIO, died in 2010. Since 2014, musicians associated with Scream Maker, Another Pink Floyd, Mad Rise and White Highway have been organizing memorial concerts in memory of the musician who became famous for such metal anthems like Heaven and Hell and Holy Diver.
We invite you to the next – the last one in the coming years – edition of the King of Rock’n’Roll.
